- Introduced in the Walter Lantz cartoon "Wet Blanket Policy" (1948). It was nominated for the Oscar for Best Song that year, but lost to "Buttons & Bows."
- Originally released as a 78 rpm by Kay Kyser and his Orchestra (Columbia 38197, 1948)
