This piece is covered by the Omnibus Wind Ensemble on their album, "Music By Frank Zappa". Jon Henley describes this piece as "an interesting example of the building-up of sonority and dissonance over a simple chord
progression.

As I recall, #7 is one of the scores you can buy from Barfko-Swill, and is not
released in any other form than as sheet music. And I've assumed that this
is the case with #6 too.

"No. 7" is a 2:14 minute piece that even had Bill Lantz stumped as to what
it was. Well, it had him stumped for a full three minutes. Then he
remembered, and I have confirmed, that it appears on the part of the
Barfko Swill catalog called Frank Zappa's Music/Music parts flyer; the
list of available scores. Listed under the section Various Short Musics:

Jumbo Go Away - Keyboards & Bass (1 Part)
Fembot in a Wet T-Shirt Contest - Keyboard
#7 - Keyboard
#8 - Keyboard
#9 - Keyboard
#9 - Harp

Has #7 ever been publicly performed by FZ or anyone? Bill thought not, but
as his three-minute delay suggests, I think his mind is slipping, so I
better ask. Is it (or #8 or #9) part of a piece we know (besides the Big
Nose).

The OWE appears to make use of these scores and why not? Could this mean
they will one day perform #8 or #9? What about these which appear as
scores:

WIND QUINTETS:
#6 - Score
Wind Quintet - Score (these appear to be different works, at least as
they are listed and indented on the price sheet)
