Musikbyrån

1984: Most of what I do ... during the show ... making a mistakes ... 'cause that's what I have to fix ... that's my job, I'm the referee. My boss is the audience, and I'm the missing link between the audience and musicians. You know, I tell them ... because they're out there.

Stockholm 1970: I do a bunch of different things ... I have the opportunity ... doing as different things as possible ... interest me.

?: Musicians usually are ... scum of the Earth.

Stockholm 1970: I even like to cook.

Lund 1988: Who represents common sense more than me? God I don't know ...

1988?: Americans don't want to be smart. It's embarassing for them to admit they're smart.

Stockholm 1970: Yeah, I think the people have the right to hear ... want to listen to, and so ... small specialized audience that likes to hear what we do or likes to hear Wild Man Fischer or would like to hear the GTO's, they should be able to hear that kind of material, somebody should make it available to 'em. Well, my music uses styles ... all over the place from all different times ... Gregorian chants ... modified versions, twisted versions of Be-Bop I remember from doing that ... taken from the environment that I live in, you know, when I'm out on the street I absorb so much of what I see ... I experience on the street ... most of my time is spent in my house ... various species of memorabilia ... And being locked up ... house quite a bit influences my work.

Stockholm 1984

FZ: ... but I'm not a pop music consumer ... I have recreational listening time I ... listen to classical music.
Interviewer: Do you ever listen to rock?
FZ: Usually what happens is if I get in a car and somebody has the radio turned on I tell them to turn it off. I mean, I do hear it from time to time, but I don't seek it out.

Well, I'm not really a rock & roll star ...
